The ZONE: The Humpty Dumpty Challenge
On our 4th and 5th meetings at University Preparatory Academy’s The ZONE, students were split into three groups, given access to netbooks, and tasked with reassembling various pop songs that had been spliced into twenty-five separate pieces.
The ZONE: If I Could Add a New Class
On our 3rd meeting at The ZONE, students were asked what classes they would like to add to their curriculum. High on the “want list” were: Boxing, Fashion Design, and Spanish so you can confuse non-Spanish speaking people. They then got a crash course on audio editing and decoupage!
The ZONE: Three Things About Me
Students in Radio Club at The ZONE wrote and recorded these pieces describing themselves in three ways. These pieces are a result of the first of nine weekly sessions in which students will learn about the microphones, mixers and digital recorders used in producing features for radio.
