We’re thrilled to offer field trips to our Youth Media Center! Programs are available for 10 to 60 students and include opportunities for hands-on exploration of our five studios, eight editing stations, mixers, microphones, and more. Experiences can be tailored to a specific objective (e.g., recording student writing, creating a pilot podcast episode) or simply an open-ended experience.
Can’t come to us? SLB can visit your classroom or after school program. We’ll bring equipment similar to the gear we use onsite and, most importantly, staff who care about youth voice. We offer weekly after school visits designed to fit within your location’s overall programming. We also offer classroom programs designed to reinforce Pennsylvania academic standards in reading, writing, listening, and speaking as well as civic engagement programs focused on interacting with adults by recording and editing audio interviews.
