A LIVE preview performance of the always enchanting play — Beauty & the Beast!

Fresh from an appearance with the Fifth Avenue Strings at the Governor’s Mansion, violin duo Jimmy Cunningham (a fifth grader at Pittsburgh Urban Christian School) and Will Wachter (a seventh grader at Sacred Heart) play holiday selections.

This week we’re joined by Pittsburgh Public School students who participated in the Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild after-school Apprenticeship Training Program. Students discuss their experiences working with finger puppetry and giant mask making under the guidance of visiting artists Leat Klingman and Beth Nixon.

Our Youth Music Showcase features the talented saxophone player Collin Ziegler, a ninth grade student at Shaler High School.

Sto-Rox students join us to discuss their participation in BotsIQ, a workforce development program designed to educate young people in the fields of engineering and manufacturing.
