Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orhcestra member and PCS Young Artist winner Eleanor Lee, 17, performs works for cello.

Beauty and the Beast is a Tony Award-winning tale of wonder and love! Based on the Disney film, this modern day classic has captured audiences around the world. We’re pleased to welcome Pittsburgh Musical Theater cast members as they preview their performance.

Katherine Zhou is a sophomore at North Allegheny Intermediate High School in Wexford, PA. She began playing the piano at the age of five in Milwaukee, WI. After moving to Pittsburgh at the age of ten, she began studying with CMU Professor Hanna Li.

We’re joined by Pittsburgh Opera apprentice and high school student Mary Grace Meland, Emily Weaver and Alexis Payne who will discuss her experiences in conjunction with PO’s latest production Turandot, as well as her own musical aspirations.

The Gemini Theater produces original, interactive, children’s musicals which focus on artistic, cultural and educational themes. This week we welcome members of the cast of Peter Pan as they preview their production of this classic story.
