In Summer of 2017, SLB Radio Productions, Inc., in partnership with Propel Schools and Leadership Pittsburgh, convened a group of 6th through 8th grade students to conduct interviews with local veterans about their military experiences.

In Summer of 2016, SLB Radio Productions, Inc., in partnership with Generation Freedom Tree, convened a group of students to conduct interviews with community leaders and mentors. Generation Freedom Tree’s mission is to educate, entertain, and create a place of freedom to one’s self and power.

SLB Radio Productions, Inc., in partnership with Propel Northside and City of Asylum, convened a group of students to create oral histories with exiled writers from City of Asylum's Writer Residency program.

During Summer 2015, SLB Radio Productions, Inc., in partnership with YouthCAST convened a group of middle and high school students. While learning about digital audio recording, the group also spent time discussing attributes of role models and identifying adults with a connection to McKeesport.
