This spring, students from Brashear High School traveled to the Youth Media Center to discuss issues in education. They discussed their experiences planning and teaching lessons, reflected on public schools, and considered the future of education.

We joined our friends at the Brashear Association in Allentown as they celebrated their final week of summer programming with Gardening Camp! Campers reflected some the fun they had and things they learned throughout the week, and even planted their own herbs to take home and care for.

In Spring of 2019, students at the Brashear Kids Afterschool Program interviewed officers of Pittsburgh Police Zone 3. These students then reflected on their experience.

Heritage Day was a celebration full of music and dancing, as Pittsburgh Brashear students shared their unique culture, traditions, and backgrounds with each other.
