Middle school students from Propel East participated in weekly podcasting sessions where they wrote and recorded a variety of scripts, as well as made specific editing decisions such as background music and sound effects.

3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students at Propel East share their thoughts on the world as they develop their authentic voices. Throughout this program, students sharpen their writing and critical thinking skills as they gain hands-on experience with recording equipment and technology.

In Spring 2013, as part of a 6-week Creative Arts program focused on radio broadcasting and audio technology, Propel East 6th graders learned how to use professional recording equipment and discovered the mechanics and physics behind audio-based devices, such as microphones and speakers.
