SLB’s Youth Media Center hosted a recorded poetry contest allowing teens to share original poems and commentary about their writing. Entries were judged by graduate student Jason Germaine Hawkins (MFA Writing, Poetry) from the University of Pittsburgh. Pieces were judged on creativity and originality, performance and audio quality, and the overall impact of the collection.
