Brashear Students Build Free Mini Libraries

Brashear High School students, in conjunction with the “Be There” campaign, kicked off a mini library project by donating the first of many free book depositories at Paisano’s Pizza in Pittsburgh’s Allentown neighborhood.

The libraries were built by Brashear students and will be placed around the district, as well as other parts of the city.

SLB was on hand to speak with students and gather audio from the inaugural little library. The first voice you’ll hear belongs to parent volunteer Deb Smallwood.
