Ron and Debbie Mesing & John and Wendy Mackin comprise bluegrass outfit The M&M Express. With dobro, double bass, guitar and banjo, these two couples sing in the high-lonesome sound that has been ever-evolving in our Appalachian hinterland. Spotlight: Pittsburgh Folk Festival with Mimi Jong

Mimi Jong has played the erhu – an ancient chinese instrument – since the age of ten. She has performed alongside members of the Pittsburgh Symphony and renowned Jazz musicians. Jong also performed with Mary Miller Dance Company, and taught/performed at Huntingdon Council for the Arts “Folk College.”
