International Children’s Painting Competition Exhibition

As we celebrate World Environment Day with Pittsburgh as the North American host city, Rebecca Lucore talks about Pittsburgh’s hosting of the International Children’s Painting Competition Exhibition, organized annually by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Bayer Corporation and Nikon Corporation. The competition invites children from around the world, ages six to 14, to illustrate their personal view of the environment. More than 75 artworks from North America, including the winning entries and the best from Pittsburgh, are on display 6/4 through 8/1 at Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh.
