New at Neighborhoodvoices: Kaitlyn Goerl, a senior at the University of Pittsburgh, and Thomas Bryant, a recent Pitt alumni, stopped by to tell us a little about themselves and let listeners know about their non-profit student organization heroiKs. The organization will host its biggest event of the year, the 2nd Annual Pittsburgh Super Stroll, on Sunday March 25th, 2012, at 12:00pm. Kmari, 11, Miles, 9, Shaiyan, 8, Elena and Ellie, are all students in the ECS Earth Ink, a nature writing program, which takes place after school and is facilitated by Jessica Server, Linsdsey Scherloum, and Ian Riggins in connection with Chatham University. Here they share selections, live on SLB.
