Shakespeare in the Park presents, “The Tempest”
New at Neighborhoodvoices: Shakespeare in the Park presents The Tempest throughout September in Frick Park (Sept 1, 2, 22, 23), Arsenal Park (Sept 8, 9) and West Park (15, 16). This past week, we were joined by Alan Irvin, coordinator, as well as “The Tempest” cast members Michael, Connor, Tonya and Garret as they introduced both themselves and their characters. New at Neighborhoodvoices: Evan Harris, a recent graduate of Allderdice High School, performing originals on Ukele and Guitar.
YES: Hope Savasta
New at Neighborhoodvoices: 11 year-old Hope Savasta, from Eighty Four, PA, sings acapella, plays piano, and occasionally mixes the two musical feats simultaneously! We were pleased to welcome this multitalented, young performer this past week.
YES: Shane Treloar
New at Neighborhoodvoices: Known as ‘the boy with the golden voice,’ Shane is a singer and also a skillful tap dancer, following in the tradition of Pittsburgh’s own Gene Kelly. We were pleased to welcome this young and unique talent to our studios this past week.
YES: Lily Zhang
New at Neighborhoodvoices: The Pittsburgh Concert Society’s Young Artists Competition provides a recital opportunity and support to talented classical musicians. This week, we were delighted to present winning artist Lily Zhang, who performed selections on piano.
