Following the resignation of PPS Superintendent Mark Roosevelt, students in the 9th grade at University Prep wrote letters to the editor regarding what they would like to see in a new superintendent.

This year SLB had the exciting experience of instructing a “Storytelling Through Technology” class at University Prep-Pittsburgh Milliones. Students gained experience with microphones, portable recording devices, and audio editing software. They also learned the art of the interview as well as how audio can be used as a tool to further their understanding of the world around them. During the year students used these acquired skills to interview their teachers and create professional radio pieces.
