In early 2012, students in 5th grade at Pittsburgh Allegheny K-5 wrote and edited personal narratives in Ms. Hutson and Ms. Manifold’s writing classes. They then recorded excerpts of their work. Special thanks to Mrs. O’Malley for allowing this opportunity and to the student writers for working hard and sharing their stories.

As part of the HearMe initiative, Kindergarten students at Pittsburgh Allegheny Pre-K-8 wrote and recorded these essays. Topics range from a favorite movie, to whales, jets, May and even a loss of a family member.
