As part of a cultural literacy program, students at MACS host a podcast where they reflect on historical topics and literary themes discussed in school.

In honor of Black History month, students at MACS feature prominent African American Pittsburghers through poetry.

Students in grades 6-8 at Manchester Academic Charter School are working with SLB Radio to prepare and record weekly podcasts and commentaries as part of an afterschool program. These pieces are a result of their weekly sessions in which students will learn about the microphones, mixers and digital recorders used in producing features for radio.
