Introducing SLB Mind the Gap Fellows

SLB is proud to announce our three Mind the Gap fellows: Aryana Booker-Gamez, Braiden Hoffman, and Schjuan Wise. The Mind the Gap Fellowship is a program for recent high school graduates who are still considering their post-graduation options. Fellows will spend a year working with SLB Radio building new skills, exploring career possibilities, and connecting with other young adults who also find themselves in between high school and whatever comes next.

Aryana Booker-Gamez is a recent graduate of Woodland Hills High School. She is a musician writing, recording, and performing regularly in the Pittsburgh area.

Braiden Hoffman is a recent graduate of Quaker Valley High School. He’s passionate about working with his hands and cares deeply for his family.

Schjuan Wise is a recent graduate of Propel Andrew Street High School. He is an artist and entrepreneur currently developing LGM Apparel, a clothing brand.

These fellows are exploring early adulthood and what it takes to build a community of engaged young people. Along the way, they’re also documenting this moment in their lives, amplifying the stories of their peers, and capturing valuable reflections from their mentors. This program is generously supported by a Remake Learning Moonshot Grant. Welcome, fellows!
