Our youth programs resume on 1/12/26. Teens interested in exploring podcasting, writing, music, journalism, and live radio are welcome to join us for our drop-in afterschool (+ Saturday) programs.

About our programs: Upcoming activities include Frosty Flash Fiction (1/13, 4:30 pm), Poetry Cafe: Bleak Midwinter (1/17, 12:00 pm), A Very Lynchian Foley Workshop (1/20, 4:30 pm), Planting Seeds for the New Year (1/24, 12:00 pm), and Blog About It (1/27, 4:30 pm), as well as weekly youth reporter meetups (Mondays, 4 pm), Dungeons & Dragons (Wednesdays, 4:00 pm), and open mics (Thursdays, 4:00 pm). Youth can also join us for open studio hours on Mondays through Thursdays from 3:00 to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Activities are free to area teens and take place at our Youth Media Center, co-located in the Children’s Museum on Pittsburgh’s Northside. Students are encouraged to visit our Student Hub at ymc.slbradio.org to learn more about our programs.
