Teens interested in exploring podcasting, writing, music, journalism, and live radio are welcome to join us for our drop-in afterschool (+ Saturday) programs.

About our programs: Youth can also join us for open studio hours on Mondays through Thursdays from 3 to 6 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm. Activities are free to area teens and take place at our Youth Media Center, co-located in the Children’s Museum on Pittsburgh’s Northside. Students are encouraged to visit our Student Hub at ymc.slbradio.org to learn more about our programs.
About Holiday Breaks: Our afterschool and Saturday programs will be on break for Thanksgiving beginning on 11/16 and returning on 12/1. SLB will also pause programs from 12/21/25 and return on 1/12/26 for our Winter Break.
