After several school visits, Propel Hazelwood and Propel Northside students piloted a revival of the Radio Pen Pal program. On the 17th of December, students traveled to the Youth Media Center and participated in a joint field trip to meet their pen pals and celebrate all of the audio they recorded.

Youth Express microphones were rolling across all eight Propel Elementary Schools, as afterschool scholars shared their thoughts and feelings about art! Hear the candid thoughts from nearly 60 students (across grades to 4) about all things art.

On Friday November 6th, members of the Propel Schools Student Action team continued their volunteer work by helping prep over 4,000 pounds of fresh produce and sanitary items for community distribution at the Propel Northside Community Wellness Center.

Sixth through eighth grade students at Propel Schools explore job and career opportunities that interest them. Through career research and interviews with people in the work force, these students gain insights to help inform career decisions.
