Remember radio dramas? Orson Welles’ “War of the Worlds,” “Gunsmoke,” and “The Shadow” are but a few examples of a golden age of radio-based entertainment. Students at Clairton’s CASTLE program–after listening to a couple plays–selected and performed part of a “Dragnet” episode… “The Big No Tooth!”
The episode revolves around Detective Joe Friday (played by the capable Ayanna) and his efforts to apprehend a shotgun-wielding assailant.
Dragnet was an American radio, television and motion picture series, enacting the cases of a dedicated Los Angeles police detective, Sergeant Joe Friday, and his partners.
