In December 2009, SLB worked with 15 teens at Urban Youth Action, a youth education and development program based in Pittsburgh that has been inspiring youth since 1966. Our workshops involved self-reflection and included student creation of these audio pieces. This project is part of the ProTeam Program, a curriculum developed by the Center for Educator Recruitment, Retention, & Advancement (CERRA) to encourage middle school students to consider careers in education and is made possible with support from United Way of Allegheny County and The Heinz Endowments.
