Teens interested in exploring podcasting, writing, music, journalism, and live radio are welcome to join us for our drop-in afterschool (+ Saturday) programs.

About our programs: Upcoming activities include Cabin Fever Roundtable (2/3, 4:30 pm), Poetry Cafe: Love Poems with Millay (2/7, 12:30 pm), Anchor Antics (2/10, 4:30 pm), Talking Valentines (2/14, 12:00 pm), Audio Drama Speed Challenge (2/17, 4:30 pm), Finding Your Voice: Auditions (2/21, 12:00 pm), Music Notes (2/24, 4:30 pm), and Love Letters to Lost Teeth (2/28, 12:00 pm) as well as weekly youth reporter meetups (Mondays, 4:00 pm), Dungeons & Dragons (Wednesdays, 4:00 pm), and open mic nights (Thursdays, 4:00 pm). Youth can also join us for open studio hours Monday through Thursday from 3:00 to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Activities are free to area teens and take place at our Youth Media Center, co-located in the Children’s Museum on Pittsburgh’s Northside. Students are encouraged to visit our Student Hub at ymc.slbradio.org to learn more about our programs.
