Open Studio at the YMC

What is Open Studio at the YMC?

Open Studio at the Youth Media Center (YMC) is a free after school program for teens interested in podcasting and media creation. If you are a teenage student in grade 6 – 12, then you are eligible to participate!

SLB Radio’s Youth Media Center is a state-of-the-art media center equipped with recording studios, recording equipment, media stations, books, games, and more – including friendly & knowledgeable staff. During Open Studio times, the YMC and all of its resources are open and free for you to use!

Open Studio at the YMC is a drop-in style program, which means you can attend any Open Studio you wish – there is no long-term commitment or attendance requirement. Interested students simply need to fill out the Open Studio Registration Form before their first session.
